TENDING TO YOUR CANDLE'S BLOOM WICK

INTRODUCTION

As you may have noticed, our candles use a two-wick system we cal the "Bloom Wick. This contains one wooden and one ribbon wick.

When you first get your candle, you may notice your ribbon wick folded a bit over the wooden wick. This is done for shipping purposes. Before you use the candle, please make sure to bend it straight up like the image above.

HOW TO BEND RIBBON WICK

- Gently but firmly have one hand securely hold onto

the ribbon wick base to make sure it does not move.

- Next, carefully bend back the ribbon wick till it's

pointing straight up.

FAQ

My Bloom Wick is splitting out.

This is supposed to happen actually!(To a certain degree). If you notice it is getting way to far from each other(<1/2in)then it is time to trim it. Sim

How do I trim my Bloom Wick?

Simply find scissors or a wick cutting tool and trim. It needs to be at least 5/16ths of an inch tall with the wooden wick cut slightly shorter than the ribbon(though it is ok if they are both even.)
